WHAT A GREAT WAY TO CELEBRATE EARTH DAY. Earth day is April 22nd so we decided to make earth day shirts with friends here at our house. This is a great craft to do on a warm sunny day outside. :)
What you need:
- A tee shirt (any color we choose white)
- Green Fabric Paint
- Brown Fabric paint
- a piece of card board
- Paint brush
- and a happy Kiddo!
Using the brown paint, make a tree trunk on your child's shirt Let it dry.
Then take the green paint and paint your child's hand and press it at the top to make the top of the tree. You can do more than one hand or just use the same hand and make multiple tree tops. One mommy made grass at the bottom of the tree trunk with her son's fingers. And have fun!!
***DON'T FORGET TO HAVE YOUR KIDDOS WEAR THERE SHIRTS ON EARTH DAY APRIL 22nd***

I think I am going to try and do that soon. I really wanted to be there, I'm so sad I missed it. I saw your mom at the wedding by the way. We only had a moment to say hi. I think i am going to try painting. I have been thinking about it for a while and I think that would be a nice outlet for me!
Such a fun craft! Liam is SO proud of his shirt...it is pretty cute
