Spring fling

Last weekend we took the kids and my niece Daniella (who Emelia LOVES) to our communities Spring Fling event. Emelia had fun gathering eggs, riding a pony, and playing on the giant inflatable courses. Jude had fun crawling through the grass and meeting Mr & Mrs Bunny. (Emelia would't have anything to do with them) Now Emelia just keeps saying "I wanna pick the eggs and eat the cadies!" Oh and she insisted on wearing the hat.... not sure why.

So here are a few pictures from the day.

Celebrating the Earth Craft

WHAT A GREAT WAY TO CELEBRATE EARTH DAY. Earth day is April 22nd so we decided to make earth day shirts with friends here at our house. This is a great craft to do on a warm sunny day outside. :)

What you need:
  1. A tee shirt (any color we choose white)
  2. Green Fabric Paint
  3. Brown Fabric paint
  4. a piece of card board
  5. Paint brush
  6. and a happy Kiddo!
First take the card board and place it inside your shirt
Using the brown paint, make a tree trunk on your child's shirt Let it dry.
Then take the green paint and paint your child's hand and press it at the top to make the top of the tree. You can do more than one hand or just use the same hand and make multiple tree tops. One mommy made grass at the bottom of the tree trunk with her son's fingers. And have fun!!

***DON'T FORGET TO HAVE YOUR KIDDOS WEAR THERE SHIRTS ON EARTH DAY APRIL 22nd***

Lost!

I knew it would happen one day, but I didn't know when. My laptop fell to the floor and the hard drive broke. Leaving me with devistation of lost work. I had about 20 plus card templates that I worked long and hard on. I had not backed up in a month!! All my pictures of the kids from February were lost as well. The last time I backed up my hard drive was right after Valentines day. Let's just say I Learned my lesson. This has also forced me to start working from the mac which is what I needed to do. I can try to recover the data for a large fee $500.00 and up. So I have to just roll with the punches and move on. I cried a few times but I think I will live. :)

Along with loosing all of my data I lost all my contacts (all of you). So if you are reading this blog, I would LOVE if you emailed me your email address' You can send it to any of my emails.

Things are moving along,

Well things have been trucking along here at the walker house hold. Emelia is talking so much now and says things everyday that make me laugh. Her current favorite show is Dora. She wants it playing all the time. A couple of weeks ago she was playing with her animals and she starts saying Uno, dos, tres, quatro, all the way to ocho! Holy cow did my kid just count to 8 in spanish! Yup all from Dora. It amazes me at how much she picks up. Jarrod took her to Seaworld yesterday (some daddy and daughter time) well when they got there the first thing they did was see the Shamu show. When the show ended Jarrod looked at Emelia and asked her "ok, Emelia what do you want to do next" her response was "let me see the map" she pointed to the horses and said "I want to see the horses" Last week Jude had roseola, so I told Emelia that Jude was sick. She told me "we take him to doctor" "check the ears" now when anyone needs to go to the doctor she says we need to check there ears.

Jude is so cute! He hasn't started walking yet but wants to. I see him holding on to the side of his toys or the sofa and him looking out into the room kinda contimplating should I do it? He has walked with the hand held push car it is funny because it goes faster than his feet move. If Jarrod and I sit across form eachother on the floor and try to get him to walk to each of us he just laughs and thinks it is the funniest thing ever. He has such a great laugh.

Here are pictures from the last couple weeks. This is what Emelia learned from Yo Gabba Gabba (this is her funny face)
Emelia in one of her onsambles.

Here is a video of Jude dancing with Elmo.

Emelia is now a Tumble Bee.

Emelia and Coach Offie

Emelia graduated from Tootsie Rolls in gymnastics class to Tumble Bee's. This is a really big deal for both Emelia and Mommy. This means I can sit on the bench and watch. :) The last session of her tootsie rolls class the teacher had me sit on the side to transition her to the big girl class and she was doing such an awesome job! Emelia felt like such a big girl when she did it all by herself. Every once in a while she would run over to me and give me a hug, it is just so cute!

She starts Tumble Bee's on Thursday with my good friend Mindy as her teacher.
