Busy Busy

The walker family has been busy. Jarrod's business has been growing and now has 4 employee's. :) The lil artist is also doing well with some at parties and adult collage lessons. However I think I may have jumped into that business with my heart and not my mind. Not realizing the time away from the kids so, I have decided to pull back a bit. Lil bean Sprout is still going strong and it seems like I have cornered the baby shower invitation market, because it seems as if that is all I get these days. :)

Both kiddos are doing great!!! They both celebrated birthday's in May. Jude turned 2 and Emelia turned 4.


JUDE

Jude is as active as ever and is talking so much. Some of his wonderful phrases are
"I don't want to mommy"
"come see mommy"
"that's mine"
"she push me"
"Let's hit the road Jack!"

He can be sooo sweet too, but he knows what he wants that's for sure.
We have in enrolled at my gym for a mommy and me gymnastics. He LOVES it and gets alot of his energy out that way. He loves his teachers and wishes he can go everyday. They have a parents night out every other Friday that the kids love to go to as well as the mommy and daddy.
Jude also loves to play with trains and loves books. :)

Emelia Mae.... (aka Velma)
Little miss Emelia is hilarious! She is so fun and has the best personality. She is currently on a scooby dooby do kick and now wants to be called Velma. She is so funny. We were wondering why not Daphnie since she is the pretty one and I think it is the glasses. She loves to wear any kind of glasses and think she looks "stylish" in them. She still loves to dress up in princess dresses and is in love with little pet shop toys. She is still in gymnastics and is actually on the performance team. It just means she does performances out in the community. She has only done one so far. We are thinking of taking a break and exploring dance.

The new business

The Ghost

So the other day when Amanda (our babysitter) picked up Emelia from school. She asked her what they did at school and Emelia told her that she saw a ghost. Amanda thought that was really funny and sent me a text telling me of her encounter. So that night Emelia and I were laying in her bed talking. I decided to ask her about the ghost. I asked her if it was a nice ghost or a mean ghost and she said, "It was nice ghost" and I said well what did he say and she responded with: "He said Hi EYa" (the way she says her name) "and I say Hi Ghost" It was just so cute and funny because she even waved as she told me the story.

Since we've been home

Emelia started school and is LOVING it, Jude has been walking a bit more (not completely), and Dalton is here visiting from Georgia. We have gone to the circus, Seaworld and Universal Studios all within the past week. Here are a few pictures.

She LOVES school so much and asks me everyday if she is going. I signed her up for two half days a week for the summer camp program but once school starts in September she will be going 3 days a week half days.

Our Amazing Disney Vacation

We are so extremely greatful to my parents for taking us all on this trip to celebrate there 40th wedding anniversary. We also celebrated my dad's birthday and my nephew Luke's birthday. What a magical trip.

Words of a three year old and a one year old

Emelia's new sayings,

"I have to do..... (example: I have to eat candy)
"I have to go... (example: I have to go outside)
I don't have to... (example: I don't have to go night night)

"No Jude watch my show" .... What does she want me to do blind fold him.

Her newest one Crossing her arms and pouting and says. "Your so mean!" where in the world did she learn that one.

We have had some pretty rough days lately but there are some cute nice things she says

She calls me "Amy" and Jarrod "Uncle Jarrod"
She calls Jude "My baby", "Handsome Boy", "Baby Jude"
The other day I was telling her that we were going to Daniella's party and she said "We sing happy birthday?" I said Yes we will sing happy birthday her response was "I like that song" it was very cute.

When ever we go somewhere she asks me if her friends are there, even if we go to the market.

when we go to the gas station she asks me if the car is hungry.

She is very excited about going on the disney cruise and can't wait to eat with cinderella and minnie mouse.

and he is still saying Doctor but for no reason at all. :)

BIRTHDAY Shout out!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANIELLA!!!

My niece Daniella is 10 years old today. We are going to my parents tonight to celebrate. Emelia is so excited. She LOVES Daniella and has so much fun playing with her. She was invited to her dance party with all her friends on Friday and was the life of the party. All of her friends danced around her and chanted Go Emelia. She was in rock star heaven.

May Madness!!! Wonder Pets Party Highlight's

What a month!!!! We have been busy busy busy! I felt like we were always doing something. Our month was filled with gymnastics classes & performance, Birthday parties, mini vacations, work, school, family & friend visits, luncheons.

I am so ready for our upcoming Disney Cruise!! I think after this weekend things will begin to settle and I will be able to relax.

It was a busy month but definitely a FUN month.

I was able to post about Jude's party but we also celebrated Emelia's 3rd birthday.

EMELIA'S 3rd Birthday!
The Wonder Pets Party

Invitations:

Decorations:

Well we had the party at the park, so there wasn't much decorating to do. I purchased all the adorable Wonder pet's birthday supplies. We put a pop up tent for shade and I spread out a huge blanket so people could eat on the grass in the shade.

Games & Activities:

Find a animal:
I thought that it would be cute if all the kids could save an animal so I bought a small blow up pool and filled it with sand. Then I buried a bunch of animals in the sand. All the kids were able to use a shovel to save an animal. All the kids took home the animal that they saved.

Dress like a wonder pet:
I also had capes made for all the kids. I had someone sew them since I don't sew and then I made and glued all the wonder pets emblems on to the back made out of felt. It took a long time to do, but so worth it! All the kids loved the capes.
Face painting:
I decided to break out the face paints and created a board of all the animals I could paint on the kids faces.
The Cake:
I must say I think I did a lot better this time around creating the fly boat wonder pets cake. I used the sail and characters from Emelia's toy fly boat. I took chocolate covered doughnuts and dipped them in melted colored blue frosting. I also used marshmallow's for the jets in the back and colored M&Ms for the lights. Then I took the sail and the wonderpets characters from Emelia's toy fly boat it was the perfect touch to finish her cake. I was really proud of my self in the end. :) I also made cupcakes and put a wonder pets ring on top for the kids.

The Food:
The only themed food I served was celery sticks with various spreads. We did a ranch dip, Peanut butter, and cream cheese. You can't have a wonder pets party and not server celery. :)

We also rented a snow cone machine. That was so much fun and all the kids LOVED it!

Birthday Girl Apparel:
Another Darling shirt made by a fellow etsian! Here shop name is jakeandlucy. Here is the link to her shop http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6261153 Jea was able to create the shirt exactly what I had envisioned!

I had her do an applique of Ming Ming (Emelia's Favorite character) on the front and then on the back it said "This is serious"

Goody Bags:
All the kids took home the animal they saved in the sand and there wonderpets cape.

Emelia's 1st Gymnastics Recital

What a cute & fun experience! I was so nervous that she wouldn't do it if she all the people but it almost looked like she liked all the attention. She did such a great job!

The little boy next to her was hilarious and it was almost like it was straight out of a movie. He began running around the stage and everyone was laughing. The video is really blurry and they look like glowing bodies but Emmy is the one in the middle. Sorry I was trying to tape and watch at the same time so It is really jumpy too.

I tried to re-focus and tape more but it didn't work to well. But at the end when everyone starts clapping Emelia stops and looks at everyone like what "what are you all clapping at?" ha ha ha
